MY BACKGROUND
Anne-Lena Traub
At age 5, I found my passion for music and the piano. As a teenager I quickly discovered the joy of helping others, especially children, as a piano teacher.
I graduated with excellence from the Music Boarding School Annette von Droste-Hülshoff in South Germany at the beautiful Lake of Constance. Accompanying my main subjects piano, music theory and history, I have a background in classical singing and choir conducting. A great joy that I love to continue with my students is playing with four or six hands. I am most influenced by my piano teachers Sonja Naegele (Germany), Lydie Barkef (Paris) and Steinway artist Marcantonio Barone (USA).
More families found me as a teacher and I am delighted to accompany each of my students on their individual journey. Through my years of experience, I’ve gained the reputation to guarantee great results, and the skills to get my students to excel in a variety of subjects.
Children are my focus, especially beginners. The sparkle in their eyes of discovering the magic of music makes my heart sing. This precious initial spark sets the important foundation for a life-long love story with music.
